Taking a long-term strategic approach, the Barcelonese architects Enric Batlle and Joan Roig use the lanscape as a means of redefining the relationship between region, town and infrastructure. In this way environmental settings exploited for decades are being revitalized to create new parks. Here are three recent examples from Catalonia.
